is there a possibilty to change the assignee of an issue, when converting from a default issue to a subtask?
I tried a post function in the Sub-Task Workflow but the on convertion no workflow changes are execute.
Somebody which an hint?
The problem is that by going from a standard issue to a sub-task you are doing a "move" and in jira it's not simple, it takes several screens to get the information together and you have to worry about custom field scope & what happens to workflow states. There is no way to do a issue move (between project or issue types) via the workflow.
If you were converting to a subtask as part of a workflow, you'd have to fine the right parent.
A better way would be to create a sub-task of the issue and assign that sub-task to someone. There is a post function that will create a sub-task based on your current issue
