Change Format of Emails to show Tasks and Subtasks More Readable

Hello,

Currently we have an email notification going out daily for users on a certain project from a search that they are subscribed to. The purpose of the email is to show which tasks and subtasks are still waiting to be resolved, and who is responsible for them.

The problem that we are having is that the email that is sent out is not all that readable. It shows all of the Sub Tasks and tasks at the same level, just a list of the issues.

What we would like it for the Task to be sort of at the foreground of the email, with the subtasks listed below that. There is an Add-On that does this but I believe it only works for the on premises version of Jira.

Thanks,
Joseph Ferrer

Hi @Linde Group

Unfortunately you can't tamper with jira standard email notification templates. You could do that on on-premise jira, but as I read from your post, you are interested in Cloud. So unfortunately, the answer is that you can't do anything about it.

One workaround would be to create a jira automation, and send emails to groups with a specific body and your ideal identation.
