Cannot login using the mobile application

Jira Mobile App fails to login. Message saying could not log you in, please wait a moment and try again. This has been the case for a few weeks. Nothing wrong with my credentials as I can login to web fine.

@Keith White I am the Team Lead of Jira Mobile and I can tell you that we had a bug in a previous release that was preventing some accounts to be refreshed properly and leaving the app in weird state. The only fix for now is to uninstall and install again the app. 

This is only happening in iOS. And should be fix in the next release.

Yep. Uninstall / reinstall was the only thing that worked for me as well.

You should emphasize this issue somewhere...

Hi Keith,

  1. Is this app for Android or IOS?
  2. Can you let me know what version number of the app you are using?
  3. Have you ever been able to login with this app?  Or has this never worked for you?
  4. Have you tried to completely uninstall this application and then try to reinstall it from the app/play store?

Please let me know.

3. Yes, used lots previously. Suddenly stopped working.

4. No, I hadn’t.  I have now done this and that has solved the problem.  This surely shouldn’t have been necessary though.
