We are in great need of having a simpler way to 'clone / copy' projects over and over again.
This would solve an ongoing problem for us .. would be awesome if so.
Jamie will have to answer the exact question on that, but it is not a simple thing. However, I can suggest alternatives to solve your use case. Specifically, JIRA Command Line Interface can be used with an OnDemand instance and provides various actions for creating or cloning standard projects. How to create projects or sets of issues based on a template is one way or you can use cloneProject.
Clone Plus is NOT available for OnDemand, so for issues, you need to create them as in the link above. Atlassian CLI license describes licensing terms. You can start with an evaluation to ensure it is helpful for your situation. Both JIRA and Confluence are included.
