Can a site-admin be removed from access to a project?

Tammie Johnson January 7, 2021

I am pretty sure there is no way to do this. We have a group that wants to use a JIRA project to track tasks that contain sensitive people data. They don't me or the other site admin to have access to the project. They want the CEO to be the only admin of the site. They want to make sure site-admins don't have access to the project. Is this at all possible to do?

correct it cannot. There are some posts in the community discussing this topic. you might check for an addon app but TBH I doubt there is any solution for this. Certainly there was not when I last looked at this a couple of years ago.

Option - standup a separate instance and have your CEO admin it. Might get away w/ free if <10 users.
