Can I use a 'new line' command when creating Subtask Templates?

Deleted user March 26, 2015

I would like to pre-populate the Description field of a Subtask from a Subtask Template with text consisting of several new lines. I have tried using <BR), \N and "\N" but none work, is there a way to do this? Here is an example of the Template Markup.

- Test / estimate: "0h" description: "Line1 <BR> Line2 \N Line3"

Hello,

I have the same question.

I noticed on the documentation (https://bitbucket.org/hascode/jira-quick-subtasks/wiki/Home) that the correct format was "{n}". It does introduce a new line, but the "{n}" appears as well when looking at the subtask.

For example, with my template containing:

- subtask 1 / description:"I need a new line here{n}and here{n}and this is a list:{n}* bullet 1{n}* bullet 2"

I get the following:

Any hint ?

Thanks !
