Calculate elapsed time

Hi,

I would like to calculate elapsed time on a particular status. Workflow status includes To-do->In-Progress->Done. For all the tasks with the status In-Progress I have to calculate how long its been there in this status. For eg: If the task moved to this status on say 20th March if I see the data on 22nd March it should show 2 days, on 25 March if it is still in the same status it should show as 5 days. Kindly suggest

As @Isadora Kniess mentioned, you probably need an app to solve this need. If an Excel workflow report would suffice, Better Excel Exporter can generate an intuitive workflow report with charts, that include time spent in statuses for issues.
