Hi Team,
I would like to Calculate Epics progress based on children/linked issues/stories and show them in the Jira dashboard.
We are using DC 9.10.1 version and found below URL but seems options have changed in Jira 9.10.1 version and require help here with the screenshot or steps.
Hi @Raj,
Your end-goal is to have the epic progress displayed on the Jira dashboards.
Not sure if this can be easily done by using automation. My advice is to search on Atlassian Marketplace for an app that provides dashboard gadgets capable to do this automatically (with no administrative work).
An example of app capable to do this is our Great Gadgets app.
See this article: How to display the progress of Epics or Initiatives in Jira or Confluence by using Great Gadgets app

Thanks for your response. Looks like this Jira admin needs to install this on the instance as we do not have access, this looks like a no option :(.
Please help me with the automation or if we have any powerbi option?

Hi @Raj
All option shown in the link are based on Jira Cloud, but they should be sufficient to duplicate on a DC instance.
Can you show what you have tried to accomplish with automation and what the details of the steps are and the messages in the audit log in case of failures?

Thanks for your response. I tired but JQL option is not working. Your help would be appreciated.

Hi @Raj

HI @Raj
Branch on Epic (parent).
See documentation, branch-automation-rules-to-perform-actions-on-related-issues
Epic Link is not an option, this is text, not an issue
