I need to make a JQL query that brings me the date of the last git hub commit that is made in a user story or what that field is called in the API to consult it, you can locate it in development > Commitments

Hola @DANIEL EDUARDO TRUJILLO CASTELLANOS ,

Hello,

Welcome to the Atlassian community.

What do you mean by "a commit no greater than 60 days"? How are you tracking "a commit"? Is that another field in each issue? If so, what data you you put in that field? Or do you have to figure out the commit based on getting the difference between two date fields?

I HAVE THIS QUERY IN JQL

project = "TEAM " AND status = DONE AND updated >= "2024-02-09"

AND I WANT YOU TO MODIFY IT SO THAT IT TELLS ME ALL THE STORIES THAT ARE IN DONE STATUS and that have a commit no greater than 60 DAYS

Hola @DANIEL EDUARDO TRUJILLO CASTELLANOS ,

https://support.atlassian.com/jira-software-cloud/docs/jql-developer-status/

https://community.atlassian.com/t5/Jira-Software-questions/JQL-to-find-tickets-what-have-commits-after-the-ticket-has/qaq-p/1447431

Hello,

JQL is intended to retrieve issues, not commit information. You will not be able to make the JQL search results show you the date of the last commit associated with the issues you retrieve.

There are a few options you can use in JQL to get issues based on related Development Panel information. Those are documented here:

https://support.atlassian.com/jira-software-cloud/docs/jql-developer-status/

The information is not very detailed, nor does it provide examples. It is unclear if or how it could be used to search for issues based on the date of associated commits.

There is an answer from @Bill Sheboy on this post that suggests using an Automation Rule to keep track within the issue of the date of the last commit.

https://community.atlassian.com/t5/Jira-Software-questions/JQL-to-find-tickets-which-have-commits-after-the-ticket-has/qaq-p/1447431

There is not currently a public API for accessing the information in the Development Panel. There is a private API described in the following unresolved change request.

https://jira.atlassian.com/browse/JSWCLOUD-16901
