Hi,

I understand that you are trying to import Jira issues from a CSV file and also want to be able to map the comments as well.  From looking at your screenshot it does not look like you have the option to select the Comment field in the importer.

I can think of a scenario where this will happen.  Jira has two different features that can both import issues from CSV files.  However one of them is only available to Jira administrators, and as such that particular External System Importer has some abilities that the other importer does not have.  For example, the external system import can import Comments, whereas the bulk create from CSV importer does not have this ability.

You can confirm which one you are using by taking a closer look at the site URL.  If your URL on that page where you created the screenshot looks something like this:

https://example.atlassian.net/secure/admin/BulkCreateFieldMapping!default.jspa?externalSystem=com.atlassian.jira.plugins.jim-plugin%3AbulkCreateCsv

Then you're not actually using the external system import utility.  If you are a Jira admin, you can go to Cog Icon -> Settings -> System -> External System import.  If you're on the correct page, the URL will looks like this:

https://example.atlassian.net/secure/admin/ExternalImport1.jspa

From there you can select the CSV import, choose your file, and you should find that on the next page you can then choose to map the Comment column of your CSV file to the Comment field in the importer.

I hope this helps.  Please let me know the results.

Cheers,

Andy

Yeah, that's! I had solved yet the problem using "External System Import" (like as you say too), thanks to Sufian Rashid:

In fact I had opened two posts with the same problem, and, I dont know why I couldn't answer this one.
