Burndown chart effect for differed tasks

I have a column in my Jira board as differed. Developers can move sub tasks into differ status without entering time. Deffer state means that developer will not be attended to the sub task.

When a sub task is moved to differed state the burndown chart is not get updated. When to add time to the sub task and move it to differed burndown chart gets updated, which is invalid in my scenario. 

How can I get burndown chart updated once I differ a sub task?

You won't get sub-tasks to update a burn-down chart.  Burn down measures delivery against commitment, and you do not commit to sub-tasks, only thier parents.
