I have a project with 400 Epics and some of them have Stories / Subtasks. I want to define Start / End Date on Epic Level manually. When I try that, Big Picture overwrites those dates for the Epics that have children. I already set the default Scheduling mode for the project to "manual" but that only affects new Epics, not existing ones. I tried finding a way of bulk changing the existing Epics to Scheduling Mode: Manual but I can't find that feature.

Changing 400 Epics manually would be a total pain.

Any chance that can be bulk changed?

If anyone stumbles upon this post in the future:

For me, bulk changing the scheduling mode directly in BigPicture was the solution. You can do this in the Gantt module of BigPicture as described here.

Alternatively, you can change the scheduling mode for all issues within an entire configuration/box by clicking here in the Gantt module (red arrow):

Found the solution myself, the custom field name is Task Mode (Not Scheduling Mode) an can be bulk-changed.
