Nikhil Kartha April 24, 2017

Hello,

Currently we have 4 instances of JIRA with our company and we would like to merge them all to One corporate instance that we have. What is the best way to consolidate 3 the instances into the fourth Corporate instance  migration Custom fields, Workflow, Project (Agile, Kanban & Business Projects) & other project settings along with tickets & ticket history for each of these projects. Also migrate all the users, groups along with their permissions.

For four JIRA systems, there's no question that one of the "project configuration" add-ons is going to be the easiest and cheapest way to do this.  Have a look in the marketplace for them.

Hi Nikhil,

Here is a detailed guide how you can use Configuration Manager for JIRA to move projects. As a result you will move everything:  Custom fields, Workflow, Project (Agile, Kanban & Business Projects), ticket and ticket history. If you have any questions don't hesitate to drop us an email at support@botronsoft.com

Cheers,
