Automation: When Epic is created -- transition parent to intake completed

***I am in a company managed project***

  • When an Epic is created at a later time (parent link field is selected on screen during creation)
  • I would like for the Parent (Legend custom issue type) to transition to 'Intake Completed'

I have tried a ton of combinations and nothing will execute. Audit log continues to say 'No actions performed'Screen Shot 2023-05-11 at 12.01.04 PM.png

Hello @Breanna Williams

Can you share with us the details of the Audit Log?

The status of "No actions performed" indicates the rule was triggered but that some condition in it was not met. The Audit Log will show those details.

I suspect the problem is that you selected Parent for the For Related Issues branch. Notice that Parent applies only to finding the parent of a subtask.

You instead need to do this:

Oh it worked!! Thank you for you help (yet again) @Trudy Claspill
