Assign to unassigned when an issue is moved back to open (reopened)

Right now in the agile boards when you go from open to in progress it will assign the issue to the user who changed the status by default. Is there a way to go to unassigned if the issue is changed back to open?

Hi Shawn,

You can set this in your workflow. The transition that moves the issue from a certain status back to Open you can add a Post Function named Clear Field. Configure it so the Assignee field is cleared and you should be good to go.

Where do I declare the post function at? I don't see a field for it. (I am using JIRA ondemand if that matters). Thanks!
