After the xml refresh form prod to dev Jira, dev is redirecting to prod Jira.

Hi ,

I have xml refresh form prod to dev Jira, but one the dev is up it didn't ask me for a reindex. Now when i trying to access the url of dev Jira it is taking me Prod Jira . I can't updare the base url from the UI as well.

Any help is appreciated.

Hi @rohit sharma ,

When you make a copy from Production to Dev. all production data is same as production.

Please update the base URL is "DEV", and also please disable Outgoing email in "Dev".

if you have any scheduled filter subscriptions, users will get email twice.

Please check the below link, and choose your production Jira version.

Thanks,

Hi @rohit sharma ,

It's just probably Jira being wonky.

Try these troubleshooting steps:

  • Restart Jira
  • Access the direct URL to the base URL configurations (don't navigate to the UI)
  • Run Jira without reverse proxy (access it in the server using localhost:8080)

Read more about how it can be solved.
