Hi,

I tried to set up a new proejct on a clean Jira 4.4 installation and adding persons to a project role doesn't show the drop down choice menu. Adding groups is no issue. I did check the logs, and restarted the application already but that didn't help.

Any ideas?

My mistake! I found out that I was in a group that was no member of the "Browse users" jira permissions. Strange that a Jira System Administrator doesn't have this by default!
