Adding users and configuring outgoing mail server

I am new to JIRA. I have JIRA server and added several users. I then configured the outgoing email server. Pressed invite users one time and then tried a second time. I got an error that the users have already been invited. The problem is that one of the emails was my own email and I didnt get a jira email. So i re-configured the outgoing mail server function in jira and tested it. The connection worked with no problems. Can anyone tell me how to do another invite with current users? Right now jira is not allowing more than one invitation.
