Adding tool tip for the fields

Hi All,

I have created some custom fields where the value for the respective fields will be auto populated form the parent and I have made the fields as a read only field.

Is there a way to add the tool tip options to these fields so that when hovering over the text box it will display the value.

Hey Gowri,

It's not a built-in function of JIRA, so you'll need to use an add-on to enable the functionality. 

This document may be able to help, I can't tell if it's specifically for confluence or JIRA, but you could test it out.
