We are curently using the "Comment" part of the activity section also for pasting the content of emails. Its getting quite messy - so I'd like to seperate the "normal" comments from the email paste stuff... is there an option for another tab like "Comments II" - or a custom field type for adding entries to a kind of diary with timestamp?!?
Or any plugin?

This question is a little old, but was there any progress on answering it at all? I'm having the same exact problem in my JIRA instance, and would very much appreciate if there was a practical solution.
