Hi,
Is there a Dropdown control where general users can options.
Example: Tester will test certain Build, if the Dropdown does not have build number. User himself can add option in this dropdown. Rather depending on Admin to add the build number into the option.
I know text field can be used for this case, but it will help others to be consistent in naming the Build number.
Thanks,
Santhosh
Hi @Santhosh Kumar Arogyaswamy ,
As per Earlier DPK comment you can use labels field type for your requirement. If you looking for DropDown control for single select or multi select value you need to CustomField Editor for Jira. This app empower users to edit custom field options and you can restrict which user can edit values or not.

@Santhosh Kumar ArogyaswamyNo to edit options of custom field, user need to have project admin right in Jira.
One suggestion I can give you is using 'Label' type custom field. In this user can add new labels, and unlike text field it will also provide auto-complete for existing labels.
