Add/Update values to customfield via API or Scriptrunner

Hi everyone,

first of all, thanks for taking the time to read, i really appreciate it...

I need to create a script or lastly an automation... which allows me to update or add new values to a certain customfield, a dropdown to be specific. Is this even possible?

The whole point to this, we need to constantly consult our JFROG instance for new artifacts and add them as values in our custom fields.. maybe also update or delete the current values as well.

is this possible? if so... can anyone point me in the right direction?
