Add URL field to issue in team managed project

Brenda Strong

I need a custom field where the user can enter URLs in the issue. I see that there's one already of this type, but when I go to Project Settings > Issue Types > then navigate to my issue type, there is no URL field in the right hand panel. I tried creating a custom field in Jira, but it is only available to add to company managed projects. How can I get this field into my team-managed issue type?

Here's my options. 2022-09-07_13-19-38.jpg

Hello @Brenda Strong

Currently an URL field type is not available for Team Managed projects.

There is an open change request for addressing that and other types of custom fields not currently available. I advise you to add your vote/comments to it.

https://jira.atlassian.com/browse/JSWCLOUD-18544

The only available alternative at this time is to use a Short Text field.
