Tomcat platform upgrade as part of JIRA Migration

Hi ,

Could you please suggest me the best way to migrate the tomcat platform for jira 7.11.(we have 7.0.55 tomcat version ,we want to move 8.x platform.)

Currently we are not using the 8.X tomcat platform in our environment .

where should i get and how to download and configure for jira application.

You should not yank the platform out from under Jira, you will break it.

You should upgrade Jira to a version that is based on Tomcat 8.
