How can we set property resolution for any task editable?

Since I missed the automatic update functionality for resolution in workflow on certain transitions. So now most of the tasks are on Done/Closed Transition and I need to edit their resolution status and mark it as resolved.

I have tried setting properties for particular transition but it didn't worked.

What are the steps I need to perform to make it working?

Editable means that any user with edit permission can edit it via edit screen.

You could try to use a transition from status to this status with screen where only resolution is present. So, status is not changed and allowed users can change resolution.

I have already tried this, but I am searching for something else. What I want is after QA or at QA all the transitions should have resolution editable.

Is there a way to do that?

There is build-in postfunction "Update value". Add it one and select field "resolution"
