Jira July Team Awards

G’day Jira Community!

We’re excited to bring to you our team awards as part of the Jiralympics this month. During the course of July, you can nominate yourself or another team for one of three awards: Marketing, Design, or Cross-functional team awards. The selected winner for each of the awards will be awarded a $500 gift card for the team to use however they like! The Atlassian Jira team will determine the winner for each award at the end of the month. You can submit your award here until July 31st.

                                                     

What are the criteria for each winner?

• Each team should have at least 3 members
• Cross-functional team award should involve at least 2 different teams
• Teams should have a clear Jira use-case for their team
• Teams can articulate the value that Jira brings to their work management

Who qualifies as a marketing, design, or cross-functional team?

Teams that typically fall under the marketing organization such as content marketing, product marketing, digital marketing, customer lifecycle, etc. all apply for the marketing team award.

Similarly teams that typically fall under design such as UX designers, UI designers, product designers, art directors and illustrators, etc. all apply for the design team award.

Cross-functional teams are a more broad interpretation of two teams that work closely together. These can be any two teams across software, IT, design, marketing, legal, hr, sales, etc.
