Thank you to everyone who participated in our Jira July Team Awards!
July was a great month for participation and many of our posts saw lots of comments about how your real life work teams perform like different sports teams. As part of this months activities, we welcomed you to submit your teams for nomination for our team awards and win a $500 gift prize. Every team is a winner but we only have 3 awards to give out. Drum roll please! 🥁
Our winner for best cross-functional team goes to:
Beach Bums!!
The Beach Bums team is a fully remote group of technical consultants that works across sales, marketing and partner managers. They use Jira to prioritize what assets are needed and then use Confluence to further refine the work. They say they’ve seen a “dramatic increase of completion of items needed by sales and marketing” since adopting Jira and their cycle time has been cut in half.
Their feedback for the community - “ Start small. Look at doing a pilot and gradually experiment, keeping things that work and pivoting on things that won't work.”
Next up for our winners of the Marketing team award:
Analytics Avengers!
The Analytics Avengers team is a team of 6 distributed across multiple countries and time zones and tackle different marketing initiatives such as product marketing, market research, campaigns, and marketing events. The team uses Jira to track progress across tasks and break projects into manageable pieces to streamline their workflow. They then use Jira reporting features to monitor KPIs and performance metrics.
What sets their team apart is how data-driven they are and their use of technology to improve their marketing output and processes. 🎉
Last but not least- our winners of the design team award:
MasterMinds!
They are a small team of 3 that uses Jira to create issues and automation for better workflows. They are newer to Jira and still learning how to get the most out of the product but they love that Jira helps them not miss out on tasks that otherwise may have fallen through the cracks.
What they love most about Jira? Using it to track tasks and tracking it towards their goals.
Way to go teams!! Your awards will be hitting your email inboxes in the next 24H so stay tuned.
