Getting close to getting 100% of users on the new Issue Create experience

Hello Jira Community,

Since our last post in July, we're excited to share that over 99.3% of users now use the new Issue Create experience! As we get to 100% in December 2022, we wanted to share a change we've made. Going forward, users with the ability to switch back to the old Issue Create experience under Jira > Personal Jira settings can now do so for a maximum of 2 weeks before being moved to the new Issue Create experience again.

Please note that this does not change prior configurations - so if the user previously chose to stay on the old Issue Create experience for One week or Three months, they will continue to do so until that time period lapses. This is to ensure consistency in deprecation timeliness of the old Issue Create experience for all our customers.

As a reminder, if you’re affected by JRACLOUD-78502, please ensure your existing workflow validators are updated to support ADF (Atlassian Document Format) on the new Global Issue Create modal for custom fields: Multi-Line Text Field, Message Edit Field by December 2022 else they may start to fail.

As always, if you have any concerns or questions, please feel free to leave a comment on this post.

Thank you,
Arbaaz Gowher

Hello,

It is such a shame that you keep on pushing "new" items, if they completely ignore requests to include features that have been available since for ever. Like this: https://jira.atlassian.com/browse/JRACLOUD-72208

When adding a comment and using the files & images icon doesn't browse the attachments of the issue

Although the ticket is "in progress" there hasn't been any update from Atlassian on when this is going to return.

Can you please provide some feedback here or in the Jira ticket?

Thanks.
--- Jacques.

Hi @Jacques

Thanks for your comment. I can understand your frustration. We currently working on the solution to referencing an attachment on an issue. We have completed the user testing for this feature and will provide an update closer to the release date.

Thanks for your understanding,

Ahmud
