How can I make a custom field required only for Epic type but optional for other types ?

Hi @hiren-contractor  - Welcome to the Atlassian Community!

If it is a Company-managed project, then you can create a new Field Configuration for the Epic Issue type. Then add it to the existing Field Configuration Scheme for the project.
