I am working on Jira business type project and started facing very annoying bug. In our company we use names for our task like E-CA-P01 so I have placed this code in summary field. When I am searching in board view the search field is working very nicely and is able to find any issue containing E-CA-... but when I try to search in a list view it appears that this search is working in different way, it is unable to find my issues. List view search only works if summary field is like this E CA P01 it looks like it does not understand "-" symbol. Has anyone noticed this "bug" and maybe knows how to solve it ?
Hi @Žygimantas Mikulis , indeed the list view behaves differently than when using the advanced issue search. I don't use the list view a great deal but do you know there are limitations when comparing to advanced JQL searching. You may wish to report this behavior to Atlassian support. I expect they are well aware of it but it would be interesting to get their take on any plans to address.
