We’d like to be able to create Subtasks that roll up to Tasks that roll up to Projects that roll up to EpicsScreenshot 2024-06-24 at 9.34.14 PM.png

Hello @C S Seshagiri

That is not possible with native Jira functionality.

With the Premium and Enterprise subscription plans you can modify the issue type hierarchy, but only to add levels above Epic. Jira does not natively support adding levels below Epic.

However, based on the image you are working with a Team Managed project and the issue type hierarchy modification is not supported within that project type.

You might be able to accomplish that with third party apps, but the native Jira functionality would not recognize the parent/child relationship between Tasks and Projects.

You could use generic issue linking to show a relationship between Tasks And Projects, but again native Jira functionality would not recognize that as parent/child
