Is there a limit on custom fields in Jira?

We are using Jira to streamline over 20 processes within our business - to do this, we created custom fields so we could also report on them.

We currently have 119 fields (initially 127 but I cleared some) and are unable to make any more. When I hover my mouse over the 'Create a field' section, it comes up with a red circle symbol and I can't add any more.

Is there any way we can fix this so we can report on it? I didn't realise there was a limit on custom fields until I refreshed and then suddenly it stopped working.

I've never seen it do that for such a low number. Are you working on a project with a team? If so, that is most likely the reason.
