I'm trying to create an automation rule for a JWM project so that when a new issue is created it is automatically linked (based on specific fields) to an EPIC that already exists. I thought this would be easy, however, I'm not finding a way to do it.
What I was trying to do:
When: Issue Created
If: Issue Type = Task
For: Current Issue
Then: ???
I thought I would go for "Edit issue" and then select the Parent (Epic), however, I'm not finding that option.
Does anyone know how to build this automation rule?
Thank you in advance!

Hi @Patrícia Borralho and welcome!

Actually, this should work as you described. In the "Edit issue" action, you should be able to select the Parent field:

Then, you can set your Epic's issue key as parent:

Let me know if this works!

Thank you Michel! It worked perfectly! I wasn't using the key value of the Parent, that was the mistake
