Hello Atlassian fellows,
I have the following challenge:
While adding someone to a project under Jira work management, the search bar shows me people that are not within my organisation.
These are clients that have been added to another project (under Jira Service Management) where they have access to our Portal.
I don't want someone to make a mistake an invite someone external to an internal project.
How can I make sure to separate external customers from internal projects?
Can I at least disable notifications if a customer is invited by mistake?
Thanks!!
Best,
Samuel

There's no way to do this - Jira simply has a list of users to be added to whatever they may need to be added to.
It does not have any concept of "this part of the system belongs to that organisation", so there's no way to distinguish your projects between "internal" and "external", and hence no way to limit users by the organisations they belong to.
