I have a business unit who were trialling Jira Work Management for task tracking but they have now decided they want to join the rest of the organisation using Jira Service Management.
The question I have is they don't want to lose all of their job history so are wanting to migrate all of their jobs from a JWM project to their JSM project.
I can see that I can move individual jobs from JWM to JSM one at a time but I can't see an option to move them in bulk.
Is this possible?
Hi @Anthony R
You can write a JQL query to fetch all issues in a project via the "search for issues" feature. Upon searching, you'll find a "Tools" button in the top right > Bulk Change.
Select all issues and go to the next page. Here you'll find the option to move the issues. Data will be kept when moving projects, just make sure the screens & fields are configured similarly.
More info can be found on this Atlassian article.
Kind regards
Jorden
Hi @Anthony R
When you mention jobs, what are they ? Issues/tasks ?
Not getting the technical understanding of job. Can you please explain or send a screenshot of what you are referring to.

Hey @Vishwas the content is a little sensitive so I can't share actual screen shots but they are requests and tasks (not issues).
The sensitive nature of the 'jobs' is why they were using JWM not JSM with the rest of the division. I've convinced them that we can appropriately manage access to their project in JSM.
The issue is they want to be able to migrate all of their existing JWM tickets (including DONE) to the new JSM project so that can continue to view and track their work history.

Got your point @Anthony R
I see your query is answered. Like @Jorden Van Bogaert bulk move would be the way to go.
