Need help to build a Parent Child relation between EPIC and Initiative

Hi All, 

I would need help!

I created a Team Project Management Board and In the Issue Type I created EPIC and Initiative.

Problem is - I am not able to build a relationship between the EPIC and Initiative. 

Please guide.

Also, I am not able to Advance Roadmap Hierarchy.

Welcome to the Atlassian community.

To have access to extend the Issue Type Hierarchy above the Epic level you must have a Premium or Enterprise plan for Jira. Do you have that?

If you have that, then a Jira Administrator needs to create a new global issue type for Initiative and add it to the Issue Type Hierarchy at the global level.

Within a Team Managed project it is not possible to extend the issue type hierarchy above Epics. Instead you have to create the Initiative issues in a separate Company Managed project. Then create an AR Plan to uses that Company Managed project and your Team Managed project as sources. Then within the AR plan you can drag the Team Managed Epic issue to make it a child under the Company Managed Initiative issue. Refer to

Please help - I create Company Managed Project and now I am not able to see anything on the board - such as timeline, and all. 

Please guide
