webhook support for REST API v3
The officials docs are not very clear on webhook support for the (v3) REST API. This doc says only Connect apps can register webhooks: https://developer.atlassian.com/cloud/jira/platform/rest/v3/api-group-webhooks/, but a separate link shows how to set them up with "other integrations": https://developer.atlassian.com/cloud/jira/platform/webhooks/#registering-a-webhook-via-the-jira-rest-api--other-integrations-
On following the example from the second link, I discovered that I can in fact register a webhook from a POST request via the API with basic authentication following the example, provided I grant webhook access to the jira account.
Can anyone clarify/confirm the status of webhook support for 3rd part apps (not Connect or Forge)? I don't want to find that I'm relying on unsupported features that suddenly turn off overnight.
