Hi all,

we're in the process of migrating our Jira from on prem ver 7.6.0 to Jira Cloud:

current jira --- https://jira.ourcompany.com

new jira --- https://ourcompany.atlassian.net

once we have moved over, we would like when users point to old links like:

https://jira.ourcompany.com/browse/IW-72451

it would get redirected to our new Jira's environment seemlessly:

https://ourcompany.atlassian.net/browse/IW-72451

any tips as to what our best / smoothest approach to this would be ?

thanks in advance!!

-Ryan

@Ryan Spink - generally speaking, if you manage your own domain, you have options!

Consider setting up redirection rules if you manage your domain in a service like Cloudflare or if your domain is behind a load balancer.

If you're still going to maintain your old server for awhile, you can also use a tool like UrlRewriteFilter to get this done.
