hi everyone!
i'm creating a new project, and need that only one user- the product manager for example, can close story issues and move them to done.
does anyone knows how to do that?
thanks
Hi @eli albert
Look at the permission scheme and/or workflow conditions for your project. Creating a project role called "Product Manager" or may be adding that one user to an existing project administrator role can also work but you will still need to make sure the permission scheme has limited permissions based on that project role.

Hi @eli albert -- Welcome to the Atlassian Community!
Yes, and...to Ravi's suggestion: this role-based approach helps when the "product manager" is unavailable, as multiple people could have the role. Otherwise that one person will bottleneck the team from completing work.

Hi Eli,
The short answer is to use a "user is in" condition on that transition in the workflow. This could be a role/field/by name/etc, but would only allow that single user to transition issues across that specific transition. Cheers!

This would be my vote if we’re dealing with a CMP.

i still have a problem. when i change the transision permission based on role/user, the all issue types changes too including bugs and tasks and i want it to be applied only on story type.
maybe it's because i got the free version?
thanks a lot guys

Hi Eli,
Put your issue type(s) onto separate workflows. Cheers!
