You can use scripting or autmation to sum up numeric fields on sub-tasks up to their parent issues.
But a couple of things to note:
- If your estimates are the time-tracking ones (original estimate, remaining estimate, etc, taking account of work logged etc), then you probably do not need to script or automate anything - the parents time-tracking panel has a toggle for displaying sub-task roll-up, and there are sum fields you can use in reports.
- If you are using the estimate for the Scrum estimate statistic, then you do NOT want to do this. It will break your Scrum boards and reporting. Sub-tasks are a part of their parent issue ini Jira, and should not have Sprint estimates put on them.
