how to assign ticket to assignee during import?

I am able to import my tickets to jira from excel, but the assignee does not get filled out (I do have the persons name filled out in the .csv).  Does jira need first last name or email? I did both but it does not work. 

 

I did validation before the import and it shows successful. 

I dont recall seeing any issues with the log after the import was done. Can someone please remind me how I can access the logs to re-verify for the assignee.

Hy Ardian,

I would use the accountId for the user. You can find that by going to Settings > User Management.

Then search for the user and click on their name. 

The accountId is a long set of letters and numbers and dashes which appear after the /users/ portion of the URL
