custom field in project details

Hi, 

I would like to add Custom fields in project details section, want to add the external details of the project and also want to add URL or Label of the project. We get many other details project from external source which is mandate to add in project details section, Description box may not be a right option for this.

Jira does not have project level custom fields, we just get the project lead and description.

You'll need an app to provide project fields, https://marketplace.atlassian.com/apps/1210816/profields-jira-project-custom-fields?hosting=cloud&tab=overview is for server and Cloud and is the only one I have worked with (there may be others)
