can i rename the issue type within the project

Hi, 

 

'i want to rename the issue type only within the project.

Example : I have two projects project1 and project 2 and i have issue type A, and the same issue type should be named as B in project 2 and Should be A in project1 and i dont want to create a seperate issue type . is that possible in Jira ?

Hi @Sunilkumar k By design it is not possible to have the same issue type with different names in different projects. You will have to create 2 separate Issue types for your use case.

Unless this is a Team-managed Project (as those Issue Types are all per Project).
