beginner, no idea where to start

Hi, I'm trying to start with Jira Software, as an Admin as well as user. I tried the free cloud option, and I'm getting absolutely no where. I am not even sure in what order to do anything.

I create a project, but it won't let me add any issue types, the workflows are "drafts" and won't let me update/save. I am pretty sure I'm missing a step, but not sure what or where.

Appreciate any guidance, roadmap on how to start you can give.

The best place to start with are:

1. Exploring with a free trial >> you are already on it ✅
2. Be patient, feel confident and invest some time in going through Atlassian University free courses.

Post step 2, you will be in driver seat playing with Jira issue management, reports and workflows etc.

thank you, I am looking at the training, but so far, it's been not what I'm looking for, but will try to get through it all and see where it goes from there.
