add fields the task screen

Is it possible to add fields to the list of fields in the task screen of jira . Or are they standard?

Yes, you can always add fields to screens. Depending on which type of project you are using, you can create custom fields and add them to the screen.

Which screen are you viewing? Can you provide a screen image?

Are you working with a Company Managed project or a Team Managed project? It will say which one it is at the bottom of the navigation pane on the left side of the screen.

Are you working with a Software project, Business/Work Management project, or Service project? it will say which it is at the top of the navigation pane on the left, below the project name.
