Hello, we're testing JIRA in order to adopt it at our company. We're increasingly finding that Classic projects will suit us better than Next-gen projects.
However, we're worried that Classic projects won't be maintained in the future and will be replaced by Next-gen projects (which doesn't have all the desired features). Will that be strategy of Atlassian ? Thank you!
Hi @Habib Hourani ,
Classic projects are being used by the majority of the customers and they are not likely to be replaced anytime in the future.
Next-Gen projects have been created to provide an easy configurable/ "no admin required" offering and cater to the needs of few customers. But for those customers/ users who need more command on configuration, classic projects are must have.
So there seems to be no reason that Atlassian is going to replace them.
