What happened to the ability to mark an epic as done

Those new to the Atlassian Community have posted less than three times. Give them a warm welcome!
I am closing down a project and part of our process is to mark all epics as Done so the epic cannot be accidentally assigned to issues in another project. The option to mark an Epic as done in the Epic panel of the Backlog page is gone.
