Webhook not working

I have setup a manually triggered webhook automation from a Jira Server to Jira Cloud, however it's saying there is no issue data when received.

What am I doing wrong?

Hi Steven,

I was attempting something similar

Based of this https://community.atlassian.com/t5/Jira-articles/Automate-Issue-Creation-from-one-JIRA-instance-to-another-JIRA/ba-p/1439079

and had the same issue, getting the 'No Issues from Webhook'. I updated the webhook url to capture what was sent and it was sending data it just that Cloud wasn't reading it.

I then tried Server to Server, worked fine.

Eventually I updated the Actor of both the Server and Cloud Automations to match and it started working as expected. So seems perhaps the user that sends the webhook must exist in Cloud or have a certain permission, un sure without being able to check logs but Atlassian would know more.

Hope that helps, I understand this was a while ago but may help someone else.

Hi, I would like to know how you configure the Server to Server?
