Update custom field with user who perform the transition in workflow

We want to update the user details who perform the specific transition in the workflow into  a custom field. I don't see any post function that support this . Is there anyway that we achieve this?

Hi @Ravi Kumar Boddu,

With the update custom field post function you can edit the custom field you have probably created for this and use '%%CURRENT_USER%%' to fill out the user performing the transition.

You can try automation like copy current user to custom field.

Thanks for the details, this doesn't allow to compare the existing value before updating the field.
