Has anyone come across this characteristic before?
While Creating tickets via Jira Email this Issue
The description field as well as they comment field is populated.
This is so strange, I wonder what could be the likely reason behind this.
Any recommendations to fix this?

I'm unable to replicate the same on my Jira work instance at the moment.
If I'm in your shoes, I would check with my Jira admin to see if they made any field configurations to the project/ boards.
